Rotary Charity Auction date, format told

For the 23rd year, Jefferson Rotarians are preparing for their annual Charity Auction.  This year the event takes on a hybrid format with online bidding and in-person auction event.  Bidding on packages will open Saturday, Nov. 13, at 9 am and continue through Nov. 19.  The live auction will be held Friday, Nov. , at the Green Room of the Wild Rose Casino.

Online bidding will be through www.32auctions.com/JeffersonRotary.   Registration for the in-person auction and dinner will also be through the 32auctions site.

“We encourage the Greene County community to participate in this event which will be even more lively with the hybrid format,” said Jon Law, auction chairman. “Look for unique offerings, experiences, trips and items only found on the Jefferson Rotary Auction.”

In its 22 years, the Rotary Charity Auction has raised more than $600,000 for worthwhile causes in Greene County and, through the Rotary International Foundation, across the globe.

This year the Rotary Club is focusing on major projects to mark its centennial, May 1, 2022. The first recipient of Centennial Major Project funds will be the dog park adjacent to the new Greene County Animal Shelter.
